TCmanager - Overview
SoftDeCC (Software Development Competence Centre) offers products
and services focussing on the TCmanager platform, a software package
for seminar administration: TCmanager predecessor have already
been used by many training centres to optimise their operational
processes since 1993. Its applications extend from the customer
specific assessment of training needs (CRM-functions and –interfaces)
over design and composition of courses, catalogues and offers with
precise interfaces to resource planning (ERP-interfaces) and enrolment
to invoicing (with interfaces to bookkeeping systems) and operational
reporting.
TCmanager Client/Server Platform
TCmanager is based on a Client / Server architecture with highly
efficient clients. Clients may be distributed over a worldwide
enterprise network and access a central server causing only minor
network load.
TCmanager Multi Language Property
Texts and key tables visible in the user interface can exist
in multiple languages in the server database and be refreshed from
the server database. German and English language are preinstalled
as standard versions. Different language clients can access the
same server. Therefore no different language versions are necessary
for regionally adapted operations: the translated texts and key
tables are simple to install.
The user interface includes graphical resource charts,
which are more adequate than text based windows in most cases -
and
customer
specific compressed workflows (Goodies), which can be easily
created directly from the screen. Highly complex operational processes
will be split into simple steps.
Since 1996 a set of applications optimised for efficiency has
emerged out of the basis of the TCmanager client/server platform.
This
was achieved by continuous development in cooperation with
training departments of major enterprises. The applications
are now delivered
in packages with flexible configurations.
