As a Cloud & IT Administrator, you’ll be part of the team that operates and further develops the technical foundation of SoftDeCC—servers, cloud infrastructure, and hosting environments on which our customers run their learning platforms. You’ll work closely with the development and support teams and serve as the point of contact for all matters related to the operation, security, and availability of our systems.
Your Responsibilities
• Administration and further development of our cloud and server infrastructure (hosting data center and on-premises environments)
• Operation , maintenance, and security of the systems on which TCmanager® runs for our customers
• Supporting system integrations and interfaces (REST API) between SoftDeCC and customer systems
• Ensuring information security during day-to-day operations in accordance with our • ISO 27001 certification
• Serving as the technical point of contact for colleagues and, in some cases, customers regarding questions about the hosting environment
What You Bring to the Table
Must-have:

Experience in administering cloud and/or server infrastructure

Knowledge of networking, virtualization, and Linux or Windows server operations

Safety Awareness in Day-to-Day Operations

A structured, independent approach to work
Nice-to-have:

Experience working with SaaS or LMS software

Basic knowledge of scripting/automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell)
Language: We generally communicate in German—perfect German isn’t absolutely necessary; alternatively, a very good command of English is sufficient. What’s more important than the language itself is that we’re able to work effectively with colleagues and clients.

Do I need experience with learning management systems (LMS)?
No, experience with learning management systems is a plus, but not a requirement. What’s most important is a solid understanding of IT administration, cloud technologies, and IT security, as well as a willingness to learn our systems and processes.
Is this a remote position, or is it based in Munich?
Working from home is possible on a part-time basis, but the Munich office remains the base for close collaboration with the on-site team.
