Since the starting point of LMS development in 1998 TCmanager® has been continually enhanced with more and more fuctions.

Over the years some major use cases have evolved:

Product Schools and industrial training centres use the LMS to train their service and maintenance staff, but also their internal or external sales teams. Very often they entertain mandatory training schemes, also concerning compliance and safety regulations. Usually product schools find that for them qualification management and  international learning portals a especially important.

Commercial Academies work in a highly competitive environmend. They offer tutoring, instruction and training in particular or general subject areas. Their target groups may be enterprises, who order training for their employees or individual learners seeking further education. Course Administration is usually a main focus, when it comes to resource planning, reporting and invoicing. The learning platform ist also a relevant issue, when online- and classroom trainings are opened for enrolment.

Personnel development uses LMS to structure operational training and business education for their employees and external partners. Learning portals protect confidential learning content and personal data. An elearning platform is often seen as an important asset. The integration of the LMS within the system landscape via interfaces for data exchange are highly relevant.
